Move It Petersfield provides local removals, man‑and‑van services, deliveries, collections, waste clearance, and related transport services across Petersfield, Alton, Liss, Liphook, Bordon, Clanfield and surrounding areas. All services are carried out by an insured and licensed operator.

2. Bookings

• All bookings must be confirmed by message, email, or phone.

• Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer.

• If the job details change (extra items, extra floors, delays, access issues), the price may be adjusted.

• A booking is not confirmed until a date and time are agreed.

3. Pricing & Payment

• Prices are provided upfront and include labour, vehicle use, and fuel unless stated otherwise.

• Additional charges may apply for waiting time, extra labour, extra mileage, or unexpected access issues.

• Payment is due on completion of the job unless agreed otherwise.

• Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.

4. Cancellations

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking may be subject to a cancellation fee.

• If we arrive and cannot complete the job due to customer circumstances (no access, incorrect information, unsafe conditions), a call‑out fee may apply.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Ensuring items are packed safely and securely unless packing services have been booked.

• Ensuring safe and reasonable access at both collection and delivery locations.

• Informing us of any fragile, valuable, or unusually heavy items before the job.

• Ensuring parking is available; any parking fines incurred during the job may be added to the final bill.

6. Our Responsibilities

We will:

• Handle all items with care and professionalism.

• Transport goods safely and securely.

• Arrive as close to the agreed time as possible (traffic and delays may occur).

• Communicate promptly if timings change.

7. Damage & Liability

• We are fully insured for goods in transit and public liability.

• Claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of the job.

• We are not liable for:

  • Items packed by the customer

  • Pre‑existing damage

  • Dismantling or reassembly unless agreed

  • Damage caused by poor access, unsafe loading areas, or customer instructions

• Some items are carried at owner’s risk (e.g., flat‑pack furniture, fragile items not packed properly).

8. Waste Clearance

• We are a licensed waste carrier and dispose of waste legally at approved facilities.

• We cannot remove hazardous waste, chemicals, asbestos, or restricted materials.

• Prices are based on weight, volume, and disposal fees.

9. Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

• Traffic, accidents, or road closures

• Incorrect addresses or access issues

• Customer delays in loading or unloading

• Weather conditions or events outside our control

Additional waiting time may be charged.

10. Items We Cannot Move

For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport:

• Hazardous materials

• Gas bottles

• Illegal items

• Open paint tins or chemicals

• Animals or live plants (unless agreed)

11. Storage Runs

When transporting items to or from storage:

• Customers must ensure the storage unit is accessible.

• We are not responsible for storage fees or access restrictions.

12. Complaints

If you have any concerns, please contact us within 24 hours of your service. We aim to resolve all issues quickly and fairly.
